The Fantasy ( ファンタジー) version was released in Japan in July 2019.It features most of the m!xable Sanrio characters from the Sanrio m!x, in addition to several new additions such as Kuromi and Keroppi, and several exclusive locations such as the Strawberry Kingdom and Mariland. The Sanrio Characters ( サンリオキャラクターズ) version was released in Japan in June 2019.It features two new locations with five new marriage partners Easter Land ( Eggbasketchi, Piyotamausatchi, Tamaladytchi, and Tamaboytchi) and Flower Garden ( Flower Fleur, Yotsubatchi, and Butterflytchi). The Pastel ( パステル) version was released in Japan in March 2019.It features exclusive access to Magic Land, and therefore the only theme where interacting with and marrying Majoritchi and Korobatchi is possible. The Magic ( マジカル Magical) version was one of two released in November 2018 and released in the USA in July 2019.It features exclusive access to Fairy Land, and therefore the only version where interacting with and marrying Fairytchi and Unipegasatchi is possible. The Fairy ( メルヘン Fairytale) version was one of two released in November 2018 and released in the USA in July 2019.Two versions, Fairy and Magic, are available in all territories. Similar to its predecessor, the On comes in multiple versions with different m!xable characters and exclusive locations. The Attention icon doesn't appear among the main icons, instead appearing at the top-right corner of the screen if the Tamagotchi calls.
Like the m!x, The On/Meets/Some has no icons on the main screen, instead having the animations take up the screen's full resolution and the 10 icons appearing when A is pressed, with each icon's function appearing in a text box above.
It has an infrared port at the top, and the English and Japanese versions support infrared and Bluetooth connectivity. Beneath the faceplate is a printed graphic, while the faceplate itself has its own matching prints.
The Tamagotchi On is the same size as the Tamagotchi m!x, and features a clear faceplate that encompasses the entire front (as opposed to the Tamagotchi m!x, which had the buttons cut off from the faceplate with a "Cracked Egg" pattern).
